Description
Plan a room layout for a home redesign, remodel or decorating refresh. Roomwise works out where furniture goes in one room, to scale, then checks the arrangement against clearance rules so you can see whether it will work before you move or buy anything. What you can ask: - Furniture layout and floor plan: give the room size, where the doors and windows are, and the furniture you want to use (living room, bedroom, home office or dining room). Roomwise returns each piece's position and facing, and a link to a to-scale plan you can edit on the web by dragging pieces around. - Will it fit? Give an arrangement you already have, or a sofa, bed or table you are thinking of buying. Roomwise checks walkway width, door swings, sofa-to-coffee-table distance, dining chair pull-back and whether every piece can be reached, with the measured value for each rule. - Remodel and renovation planning: how much flooring, paint and baseboard a room needs, with waste allowances, and a cost if you supply prices. Who it is for: homeowners and renters planning a home redesign, a room refresh or a remodel, and anyone working out house decor layouts such as where the sofa, coffee table or dining table should go. How it works: you describe the room in words and measurements. Roomwise does not need a photo. Results are rules of thumb for comfort and access, so measure twice. What it does not do: it does not redesign a room from a photo, choose styles, colours or decor, order furniture, or give building-code, structural or safety advice. One rectangular room at a time. Privacy: saved plans are private links, deleted 90 days after the last edit. No account is needed.

Auth, tools, and actions
Authentication: Open Access. Roomwise is flagged for Can Modify Data. Current MCP inventory reports 3 tools, 1 resources, and 0 prompts.
- Check a room layout · Read-only action
Use this when the user already has furniture positions (or has edited a plan) and asks whether the arrangement works, for example whether a sofa blocks a door or sits too close to a coffee table. Checks them against the same clearance rules without moving anything. Each piece needs its position (its north-west corner measured from the room's north-west corner) and the direction it faces. Returns pass/fail for each rule with measured values such as the narrowest walkway. Do not use to find a new arrangement (use plan_room_layout) or to give structural or building-code advice.
- Estimate flooring, paint and baseboard · Read-only action
Use this when the user asks how much flooring, paint or baseboard a room needs for a remodel, renovation or refresh. Calculates quantities from the room's size and openings, with waste allowances, and the cost if unit prices are given. Returns floor area, paint gallons (exact and to buy), baseboard length and the assumptions used. Prices are in the user's own currency; flooring is priced per square foot, baseboard per foot and paint per gallon. Do not use for contractor quotes, labour costs, tile pattern layouts, or ordering materials.
- Plan a room layout · App action
Use this when the user wants to plan, arrange or rearrange furniture in a room for a home redesign, remodel or decorating project, or to see whether a set of furniture will fit. Plans where furniture goes in one room, to scale, from the room's size, door and window positions, and a list of furniture with sizes, then checks the layout against clearance rules: walkway width, door swings, sofa-to-coffee-table distance, dining and storage clearance, and whether every seat can be reached. Returns each piece's position and facing, a pass/fail report with measured values, and links to view and edit the plan on the web. Do not use to redesign a room from a photo, choose styles, colours or decor, order furniture, or give structural or building-code advice.

How to Improve
Add at least 2 example prompts. Prompt examples strongly improve app matching and click-through intent.
Increase keyword coverage (discovery + trigger) to improve retrieval for long-tail queries.
Choose a primary catalog category so visitors and AI agents can route this app into the right browse and recommendation surfaces.
Provide a stable HTTPS logo URL (avoid connectors://) so cards render consistently across clients.
Add at least 2 screenshots that show real workflows to increase confidence and conversion.
